On Sunday, May 1, the summer holiday season starts in the Krasnodar Territory.
According to local authorities, 100 beach areas will operate in the region, 30 of which are in Anapa, 23 both in Gelendzhik and Sochi, 11 in the Tuapse district, 7 in Novorossiysk, 6 in the Temryuk district, RIA Novosti reports.
More than 50% of the resort capacity was booked for the May holidays in the Krasnodar Territory. About 600,000 guests are expected to visit the Kuban resorts these days.
