MAK Research Company has conducted a comprehensive public survey on the Turkish government's performance within the first 100 days, Daily Sabah reports.
The most striking result revealed that 90 percent of the Turkish public indicated their mistrust against the U.S. The public poll which was conducted between Aug. 27 and Sept. 2 throughout Turkey among 2,700 people.
When asked if they would vote for Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a possible presidential election, 71.15 percent of those surveyed indicated that they would vote in favor of the president while 22 percent indicated they would not.
When asked about the government's combat against Gulenist Terror Group (FETO) terrorists, 72 percent of respondents stated that the purge has been successful with the majority of participants stressing that the next steps should be to eliminate the political wing of FETO.
