9 days after the floods, a living penguin was found at Tbilisi Zoo, the 9th penguin to survive the disaster, TASS reports.
The zoo had 17 penguins, 7 of them have not been found.
Zurab Guriyelidzea, director of the zoo, said that it would be cheaper to build a new zoo than rebuild the old one.
19 people have died and three are missing in the huge flood of June 14, the worst since 1960.
