The Georgian Interior Ministry has reported the arrest of five suspects in the kidnapping for ransom of two Russian citizens who travelled to the Republic.
"The investigation has established that the accused had previously conspired and planned to obtain money by kidnapping two Russian citizens. Having arrived for a wedding in Georgia, the Russians were locked up for several days by the criminals, who demanded a sum of money in exchange,‘’ the Sputnik Georgia news agency quotes the representatives of the Ministry.
