Honorary trainer of the Republic of Kazakhstan in rhythmic gymnastics Svetlana Krasnikova said that excellent conditions have been created for training and performance of gymnasts in Baku in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
Sharing her impressions of the organization of the AGF 2nd Junior Trophy in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which kicked off today in Baku, she noted that it was a great pleasure not only to perform at the Baku National Gymnastics Arena, but to simply be present there. “Organizers have thought through every detail. I think this is somewhat of a rehearsal for the World Cup,” she said.
Svetlana Krasnikova also pointed out that competitions in Baku always give athletes new experience and knowledge. “We're learning a lot from our Azerbaijani colleagues who have created an excellent competitive team. Looking at them, I want to work even more,” she said, expressing confidence that Azerbaijani athletes have a great future.
