Sweden wants to become a NATO member together with Finland. This was stated by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
He stressed that he was in constant contact with his Finnish counterpart Sanna Marin and Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, and they confirmed that Helsinki intended to join the North Atlantic Alliance together with Stockholm.
