Switzerland has announced it is lifting sanctions against Iran, according to a message published on the website of the Swiss Parliament.
"On August 12th 2015, taking into account the decisive turning point in the negotiations on the dossier, which have been going on for 12 years already, the Federal Council made the decision to lift the sanctions against Iran, the effect of which was suspended from January of 2014 ... The relevant legislative changes will come into effect on August 13, 2015," the document says.
