The Syrian Foreign Ministry has expressed condemnation of the deployment of Turkish troops to Iraq, as well as expressing solidarity with the Iraqi Government and the people of the country, the Syrian national news agency SANA reports.
Damascus considers the Turkish troops to be a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, which violates the UN Charter and makes the situation in the region more difficult, RIA Novosti cites the document as saying.
