The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation has provided 5.2 tonnes of humanitarian aid to over 5,600 Syrian citizens in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The center reported that during the humanitarian missions over the past day "3.3 tonnes of bread, 2,500 hot meals" and "300 sets of foodstuffs" were delivered to 5,680 people.
The total weight of the delivered humanitarian aid to local residents is estimated at 5.2 tonnes, the Reconciliation Center said adding that works on the restoration of ruined infrastructure and provision with temporary shelters continued.
The ministry added that the United Nations and partners continued providing food and non-food, medical, psychological and law assistance to Syrian nationals.
