‘‘Syrian government troops have managed to restore control over the dominating heights in the area of Jub al-Ahmar, near the border with Turkey,’’ a representative of the armed forces of the Republic, Brigadier-General Ali Mayhub said.
In addition, the Syrian Air Forces struck several times militant positions, their command posts and warehouses near the town of Salma and the villages of Mgariyya, Ikko and Tertiyakh. Dozens of terrorists were eliminated as a result of the operation.
