Syrian Foreign and Defense Ministers travel to Moscow

Asaad al-Shaibani, the Foreign Minister of the interim government, and Murhaf Abu Qasra, the Minister of Defense, are flying to Moscow on an official visit, according to Syrian state media.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the ministers will hold discussions with the Russian officials in the Russian capital.

A delegation from the General Intelligence Directorate is also accompanying the ministers on the trip.

This visit follows Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa's trip to Moscow in October of this year, during which he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
