Syria has started exporting its fruit and vegetables to Russia. A batch of Syrian products, including about 3000 tons of oranges, lemons, grapefruit, tomatoes and cabbage, was delivered to the Russian port of Novorossiysk.
The head of the Adyg-Yurak company, Aslan Panesh, said that it's not a first delivery. He added that poor quality packaging remains the main problem. The company is currently negotiating the sale of Syrian products to an array of Russian food retailers.
