The representative of the chairman of the moderate Syrian opposition National Action Party, Mahmoud Marais, has said it was too early to speak about Geneva-3, as there are no conditions for its effective implementation.
"We believe that the conditions for Geneva-3 haven’t been created yet. However, Moscow-3 or the commission of the UN special envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura can help us prepare this conference," he noted.
The politician also underlined that it is necessary to hold another round of negotiations among all the representatives of the Syrian conflict in Moscow in order to make the meeting in Geneva successful.
"Moscow is a suitable platform for a dialogue between the regime and the Syrian opposition. It is a very important platform that can help us to move on," Marais said.
