The Border Police of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained three Syrian citizens for the illegal attempt to cross the Georgian-Azerbaijani state border.
"The investigation revealed that the detainees tried to cross the state border of Georgia in the direction of the Republic of Azerbaijan," Sputnik-Georgia reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The Syrians may be sentenced to 4-5 years in prison.
