Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Ali Reza Alaboyun stated that the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) will not cause any material damage to the country.
He also refuted information, spread by a number of Turkish media earlier, that allegedly Turkey will pay 10 billion dollars to Azerbaijan for transportation of its gas through TANAP.
The minister stressed that TANAP bears a strategic character for Turkey, and Ankara assesses this project highly, Trend writes.
