TAP gas pipeline 93.5% completed

The progress in the implementation of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is 93.5% as of late February, according to TAP AG consortium.

It was noted that every day hundreds of meters of TAP’s Right of Way are cleared, strung, welded, lowered into the trenches and backfilled, in line with the project construction steps and schedule.

"At the end of February 2020, the TAP project was 93.5% completed," the consortium said.

TAP project, worth 4.5 billion euros, is the leg of the Southern Gas Corridor.
