Rector of the Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Vladimir (Lado) Papava has written a statement about his own resignation. It is reported that the University Academic Council has already complied with the request.
Thus, Papava will remain as the head of the University until May 1st. During this time the entire academic staff will elect the Acting Rector, Georgia Online reports.
