An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 occurred in the Tabasaran district of Dagestan at 16:18 local time.
The earthquake was recorded 7 km south-west of the village of Sirtich at a depth of 10km, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), said.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
