A meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts was held yesterday in Moscow. Issues of the current activities of the Academy were discussed there.

Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, the sculptor Akif Askerov became a honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
