Tashkent International Airport was named after the first president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, corresponding decision was made by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The capital will also open Republican Public Charity Fund of the first President of the Republic, as well as a museum dedicated to him in Samarkand.
