Tbilisi City Hall has decided to terminate the agreement with parking management City Park company starting from April 10, 2018, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said.
Kaladze explained that the reason behind the decision was the "irresponsible and unlawful performance of public authorities."
Company City Park was the winner of a tender announced by the Tbilisi government in 2007, upon which it was granted the right of parking management in Tbilisi on a 15 year lease, Agenda.ge reported.
Kaladze added that from April 10, Tbilisi Transport Company will fulfill the functions of City Park until a new parking system is established in the capital.
