The Armenian Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan and the Georgian Minister for Penitentiaries and Probation Giorgi Mgebrishvili have signed a memorandum on cooperation in the penal sector.
The sides shall cooperate in effective control of the correctional services, and development of legislation in the penal sphere.
The document also provides for educational programs and exchange programs regarding the material and social security of prisoners and convicts, and the penal healthcare sphere.
