Tbilisi businessmen take to streets to defend right to night movement

Representatives of the Tbilisi business sector staged a protest today to express their attitude to the ban on movement at night in Georgia.

Several dozen heads of entertainment centres, tour operators and hotel owners participated in the rally, saying that the ban on the night movement seriously interferes with their work and income, Sputnik Georgia reports.

When the protesters tried to put up a tent near the building of the government office, the police did not allow them to do so, which led to a small scuffle between the protesters and the police.
