Today the cultural and musical center of Dzhansug Kakhidze in Tbilisi will host a Christmas charity concert in order to help children with cancer under the age of 22 years.
All donations collected during the evening will be directed to the 'Solidarity Fund of Georgia'.
Participants in the concert will include the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vakhtang Kakhidze, and the Georgian State Symphony Orchestra, as well as Alexander Vasadze (organ), Salome Jikia (soprano) and Nana Dzidziguri (mezzo-soprano), Sputnik Georgia reports .
The event was organized by the Solidarity Fund of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, the cultural and musical center of Dzhansug Kakhidze, supported by the Georgian ministry for culture and monument protection.
