Iranian spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's theological conclusion on the inadmissibility of creating an atomic bomb remains unchanged, Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said.

"This is a fatwa of the leader of Iran - the highest religious authority and at the same time the highest state official in Iran. Therefore, the orders and fatwas issued by him are binding on all and no one can or will violate them," Kani said.

The diplomat noted that Iran "is not going to go beyond" the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and the NPT safeguards agreement between Iran and  the International Atomic Energy Agency on the nuclear issue.
