The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, announced the resumption of talks between Iran and the United States on the JCPOA in the near future.
Borrell is on an official visit to Tehran, where he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The head of diplomacy noted that the visit to the Iranian capital has one main objective: give new momentum to the negotiations and bring the nuclear deal back on track.
"At a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, we agreed to resume negotiations between Iran and the United States in the coming days, and with the assistance of my team, to resolve the last remaining issues," he wrote on Twitter.
