Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Tehran is ready to assist Turkey in eliminating the effects of a strong earthquake, as a result of which more than 20 people died.
The diplomat offered help during a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Zarif also expressed condolences in connection with the tragedy, RIA Novosti reports.
