"Tehran will host the 3rd Gas Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) on November 23, 2015, where the situation of the world gas market will be discussed," IRNA cited the Secretary General of the GECF, Mohammad-Hossein Adeli, as saying.
The GECF has 14 members: Iran, Russia, Qatar, Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Peru, UAE and Oman. The observers comprise the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iraq and Norway, TASS reports. The Gas Exporting Countries Forum controls over 70% of world gas reserves.
