Israel had recently established close ties with various countries, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a speech at a reception at the Foreign Ministry on the occasion of the upcoming Jewish holidays.
He explained that Tel Aviv previously had not maintained any real contacts with Beijing, Delhi or Tokyo. There were no relations with Muslim Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Netanyahu added, the situation has changed over the past two years, and close ties had been established between Israel and these countries.
