The Swedish bison will be transported from the Oka Nature Reserve in the Ryazan region to the Turmonsky Nature Reserve in North Ossetia in late July, the WWF reported.
Last December, 17 bison came from Sweden to Russia on a ferry to increase the genetic diversity of domestic animals by creating a free-living herd in North Ossetia and replenishing the breeding stock of the nursery in the Oka Nature Reserve
