The average exchange rate of the Kazakh tenge to the dollar on the day following the introduction of a free-floating exchange rate of the national currency by the Kazakh authorities fell by 2.79 tenges, reaching 252.47 tenges per dollar. Such a conclusion can be made from the data of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on the results of the morning trading session.
Total trading volume reached 49.6 million dollars this morning, RIA Novosti reported.
