Terrorist attack prevented in Turkey

A terrorist attack has been prevented in Turkey's Adana Province, Trend reported citing Turkish media.

The attack was planned by the IS terrorist organization for October 29 - The Republic Day of the Turkey, the reports said.

During a special operation by the police in Adana, six members of the IS, who were planning the attack, were detained.

One of the members was a woman, reports say.

The names of the detainees and details of the operation were not made public.
