Terrorist attack prevented in southeast of Turkey

A terrorist attack has been averted Turkey's Siirt province. A car bomb was found by the police as a result of the special operation.

It is reported that the attack was planned by the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Trend reports with reference to the Anadolu Agency.

Turkey's conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party has been going on for over 25 years. The UN and the European Union recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization.
