Kyrgyzstan's National Security Committee detained four members of the international terrorist organization, the press service of the committee said.
The terrorists planned a series of terrorist attacks using explosives and firearms on border areas with the purpose of destabilizing of the socio-political situation, the GKNB said in a statement.
A criminal case into terrorism and other charges was opened against the detainees. The suspected terrorists were taken into custody, AKIpress reported.
