A PKK terrorist was killed Sunday during an attack on an armored police vehicle in southeastern Turkey, security sources said, Anadolu reports.
The terrorists attacked an armored police vehicle at an intersection in the Yenisehir district of Diyarbakir province, injuring two police officers on Sunday, said security sources, who spoke anonymously due to restrictions on talking to media.
Security forces managed to track the fleeing assailants in an apartment, killing one of them. A rocket launcher and a gun were seized in the apartment.
