In connection with mass desertions, Syrian terrorist groups are carrying out forced mobilization of local residents, who are forced to participate in hostilities from fear of being shot, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Major-General Igor Konashenkov reported.
"In the province of Raqqa, ISIS militants announced the general mobilization of the male population over 14 years," Interfax-Azerbaijan quoted Konashenkov as saying.
