There are no religious conflicts in Russia, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, stated in his Republic Day speech.
"We live in a country, where there are no conflicts on religious grounds, and citizens show respect for other religions. We defeated terrorism, broke the backbone of those, who wanted our vast country to collapse, those who under the cover of religion tried to destroy our people and identity,’’ Kadyrov said, stressing that the republican authorities will not allow the mistakes of the past years to be repeated, and will continue to build the future as a part of the multinational and multi-confessional great state - Russia.
