Third line of power bridge to Crimea put into operation

Third line of the power bridge to Crimea was put into operation, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists today, TASS reports.

"From January 1, we do not receive electricity from Ukraine. Two lines of the energy bridge operated until today, Crimea received 400 MW from the Unified Energy System. And today, April 14, the third line of the power bridge was put into operation, which increased the possibility of receiving additional 200 MW. Thus, the current power supply will total 600 MW," he said.

Novak added that the next stage in the next two to three weeks is putting into operation one more line of 200 MW, which in total will provide up to 800 MW from the Russian Unified Energy System.
