Three Kurdish militants killed in Turkey

Today, in southeastern Turkey, three militants of the banned 'Kurdistan Workers' Party' (PKK) were killed.

Clashes between militants and police took place in the city of Sur in the province of Diyarbakir. According to preliminary data, Kurdish militants violated a curfew and attacked police at a checkpoint.

One female terrorist was killed at the checkpoint, two more were killed during an ensuing shootout, in which one Turkish police officer received a gunshot wound, RIA Novosti reports.
