People in Armenia continue to demand the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, 17 parties are also in favor of his resignation. According to the "Zhokhovurd" newspaper, representatives of the parties are actively working with the Russian side, wanting the candidate who builds good working relations with his neighbor to take Pashinyan's chair.
"According to this information, 17 parties discussed the names of three candidates - Vazgen Manukyan, Artur Vanetsyan and Hrant Bagratyan. Of these candidates, our strategic partner preferred Vazgen Manukyan. Moreover, according to this information, Vazgen Manukyan recently visited Moscow to discuss his candidacy," the newspaper writes.
It was noted that instead of becoming the new prime minister Manukyan may become the head of the interim government, which would guarantee the management of Armenia in the coming months without any shocks, within which free and fair elections will be held.
"Strange as it may seem, but at the same time it becomes clear that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has a significant number of supporters among the citizens of Armenia," the source added.
