Three people died in a mine in the Batken Region of Kyrgyzstan, the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to preliminary reports, the miners died after carbon monoxide poisoning during illegal extraction of coal in the depth of about 90 meters.
The incident occurred on October 26 at about 10:00 pm in the mine located in Samarkendek village, AKIpress reported.
Nine rescuers pulled out the bodies and handed over to the police.
