On Saturday morning, an explosion occurred at the Gaisky mining and processing plant in the Orenburg region, killing three people.
A detonation took place at a depth of 1.2 km. The government of the region said that the incident occurred as a result of planned blasting.
There are no external injuries on the bodies of the dead miners, the press service of the plant notes. They may got poisoned by the gas, Rostekhnadzor spokesman Andrey Vil said.
88 workers were evacuated. Work at the emergency site was suspended by the order of Rostekhnadzor.
