Three people were killed and seven injured in a wild land fire in the Taldy district of the Almaty region, the Kazakh Interior Ministry reported.
Among those killed is an employee of the Zharkent forestry institution and two locals, who were fighting the wildfire.
More than 13 units of special equipment and 59 employees of the department of emergency situation of the regional police department are involved in fighting the fire, AKIpress reported.
