Three rounds of voting did not help Turkish Parliament to choose a speaker

None of the four candidates for the post of speaker of the Turkish parliament, the election of which was held today, did not score the required number of votes from the deputies as the result of a third roundof voting, the counting commission of the parliament announced.

In the final, fourth round of the elections, which will also take place today, the two candidates who received the most votes will participate - Yılmaz and Baykal. For the election of the Speaker in this round, one of the candidates needs to enlist the support of a simple majority of members of parliament.
