Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an amendment to the decree №656 as of October 22nd 2015 "On the simplification of certain checks in connection with the implementation of customs controls in the area."
According to them, the first part of the document is ruled out now.
It means the termination of the norm, according to which goods less than $10,000, imported by individuals into the customs territory of Azerbaijan and not intended for production or commercial purposes, except for excise goods, vehicles and items required to meet the needs of individuals in the course of a trip, won't be subject to customs duties, 1news.az reports.
