Tillerson, Lavrov spoke on Wednesday about Idlib chemical attack

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke by phone following the recent chemical attack in Syria, a senior Department of State official said on Thursday, Sputnik reports.

"Secretary Tillerson has been in touch with Lavrov since the attack. Yesterday there was a phone call in which they discussed what had happened, and we sought the Russian analysis or readout of what they thought had happened," the official stated.
