At a meeting with the manager of the Astana International Financial Center, Kairat Kelimbetov, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev announced his desire to attract foreign investment in the economy of the republic, the press service of the country's leader reports.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to intensify work to attract foreign investment to the country's economy in close cooperation with the government, the National Bank and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market," the press service statement reads.
The Kazakh leader also got acquainted with the results of the centre's work for 2021. He was informed of the readiness to hold the international Astana Finance Days on June 27-29, within which Kazakhstan’s role in ensuring the economic connectivity of the Eurasian space will be discussed.
