Tokayev congratulates Raisi on upcoming Eid al-Fitr

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi have discussed the state and prospects of developing bilateral relations by phone, the Kazakh president's press service said.

"The sides noted broad possibilities for further increasing cooperation, including in the spheres of transport, logistics and trade. The presidents also exchanged opinions on vital regional and international issues," the report said.

The presidents also exchanged congratulations on the holy month of Ramadan and upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
