Tokayev pays visit to Almaty

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Almaty on a 2-day working visit, his spokesman Berik Uali said.

According to him, the head of state will get acquainted with the Zhana Almaty program and hand over keys of apartments to children from orphanages.

He will also take part in the meeting on social and economic development of the city. Tokayev plans to attend some other events on the first day of his working trip.

On the second day of his trip, the Kazakh president will hold a number of talks in the Almaty residency, AKIpress reported.
