On Monday March 14th Muslims of Kabardino-Balkaria will elect the head of the SAM (the Spiritual Administration of Muslims) of the republic.
An extended meeting for election preparations took place today in the North Caucasus Islamic University in Nalchik on the threshold of the beginning of the 7th Congress of the Sam Muslims.
The current chairman of SAM is Hazrataly Dzasezhev. He has held the post since March 2011, Caucasus Today informs.
